This blog was once a resource for those concerned with WJU's slide into chaos and corruption. The "insider" information posted last Fall was fascinating and illuminating. The comments and emails the authors shared exposed an institution where reason took a back seat to internal politics.

There is much still to discuss: WJU's low retention rate, good people censored, harassed or forced out and questionable academic decisions made in the name of economic expediency (Athletic Training as a major? Kayaking as Communications as an academic class? Readers might wish to explore WJU's current catalog to see what kind of compromises this university is making to attract or keep students. What's more, they might wish to inquire as to the number of students in the ATP struggling to stay above academic probation).
Finally, we have a president with little academic experience and no degree beyond his BA—not even an academically bankrupt D.Ed.
And bloggers are making wisecracks about names with the initials of L.C? I think we can accept the value of anonymity and move on to more relevant matters. Rome is burning. It's time to drop the fiddle . . .
